A Healthy Eye for the Past Without Compromising the Future: Maundrell Park
Maundrell Park is a large community space located in the heart of Stanmore in central west Sydney. Working for Marrickville Council, ESD upgraded the entire park without compromising the integrity of the original design. This involved reworking the entry pergolas, installing park furniture, creating a sunken garden and improving the design and aesthetics of the play area.
Not only was the design intricate but the park was also open to the public throughout the work period. A high degree of planning and commitment to Environmental Health & Safety was required to ensure the safe and timely completion of this enormous and satisfying project.
